Sparkly Nails and New Year Faves :)

HI dream clouders :) 

Today I'm first going to share with you a super cute nail design I tried out today using bottled nail sparkles.You apply polish then tip the sparkles over.I purchased sparkles specifically for nail art but I guess you could just use standard craft glitter.I painted my nails then poured the sparkles over my two big toes over a carrier bag so I could knock off the residue. It stayed on very well and I was very impressed with this nail art look I was quite apprehensive about at first.

I think this look would be super cute in summer when you can show your nails off in sandals and the sun would really catch the sparkles.

Next I'm going to talk about some of my faves of the new year.

I just got this amazing Nude to Neon Face Palette by Pauls Boutique.

It comes in a super cute leather zip up pouch with a mirror inside and you can remove the palette to use the case for something else but I have left mine in.

I have tested out the colours in the set on my hand but have not yet used them properly. 

Tomorrow I am going to a party so I will film a get ready with me video featuring this palette then.

The other fave I'm going to talk about is the boy band merchandise in Claire's.

I love The Vamps and keep all the wrist bands I buy from Claire's that are to do with The Vamps on my key chain.I love my wrist bands and if you don't like wrist bands or The Vamps are not your fave boyband they do loads of other styles of merchandise for loads of other bands/artists.

Weekend Ice-Skating !

Hi dream clouders ! Tomorrow I am going ice skating for the first time with some friends ! I'm super excited so I thought I would share with you my outfit , make-up and hair. 

For my hair I will be doing a half up half down bun Zoella style.

I will gather half my hair at the top into a pony and twist into a bun , placing a bow in front.I will comb and straighten the remaining loose hair.

For my eyes, I will use a subtle combination of blues and blacks in not to thick lines and complete with mascara. 

For my lips , I'm going for a pink/neutral matte lipstick in the shade pictured below.

For my skin , I use Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder.

I blend it fully in and apply a light golden powder along with a small amount of light pink blusher and blend.

My outfit will be a black jumper with subtle sequin detail , blue jeggings , a blue jacket with darker blue leather arms and a black heavy wool collar.

Tomorrow I will upload an outfit of the day photo so you can see the clothing items.

I will also do close ups of my hair and makeup final results !

Eye-Shadow Tutorials :) x

Hi dream clouders ! Today I'm going to show you some eyeshadow tutorials for the new year !


The first is using 'Future Tones' pallet by Technic.

I used a blend of the pink and green shades on my upper eye lid and below my eye with a flat brush.I then used the dark blue shade from my inner eye corner outwards,along the edge of the bottom of my eye and on my waterline.I then made the line from my inner eye corner and out meet the line on the bottom of my eye by extending both to each other and slightly thickening with the purple colour using my flat brush and angled brush.

The next eye look will be created using the Cute or What brand 'Wide doey eyes' pallet.

I applied the light beige shade all around my eye and towards my brow bone with the flat brush.I then used the muted orange shade in my eye crease and as very thin line under my bottom lashes with the angled brush.Next, I defined my top lid and water line using the brown shade and angled brush.I took the blue shade and drew a small line from my inner eye corner out and also on a little bit of my waterline.I then joined the end of the line I drew in my inner eye corner to the end of the little line I applied to the water line and filled it in.

The next look I'm going to create is a subtle look and only uses 3 muted browns/creams from the Benefit 'Tattletell All Gossip Queen Makeup Kit'.

Using the top right shade and a flat brush , I applied around my eye and brow bone.I then used the top left shade in my eyelid crease , down to my inner eye corner and extended a flicked line out using the angled brush.I also filled my waterline in with the top right shade and outlined it with the top left shade using the angled brush. Finally , I used the bottom shade to outline the whole look with the tip of the flat brush.

I hope you enjoyed these eye shadow tutorials ! Remember that these tutorials were just using eyeshadow 

so to complete , you could add some eye liner/mascara.
