December Faves Part 1 !

So December isn't actually over yet , so really I shouldn't be doing my favorites yet , but there are LOADS of things I have purchased or seen on the internet recently that I really like , so I thought I would do a favorites post now and then do another one after Christmas that can include some things I get as gifts as-well.

So first is actually a hairstyle that i have been doing a lot at the moment. Its the messy bun.
This is Zoella's messy bun and this is exactly the way I choose to do mine , high up on the head , a few messy strands of hair.It does take a couple of attempts to see which way works for your hair but I totally love being able to come home and just put my hair in a messy bun , or if I am going out and my outfit doesn't suit loose hair , I can put it in a messy bun. This is supposed to work better on not washed hair , but I can do it with clean hair by not fully
de-tangling it and using some dry shampoo for texture. Zoella has a tutorial for messy buns on her you-tube channel , I will link it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8dI6PSpOXE

The second thing on my list is actually a shop. Its Lush.
I'm lucky enough to have a lush shop in a shopping centre I visit often and I love there products. The picture above is of there bath bombs. They are super cool and turn your bath water bright purple with sparkles , or orange with glitter , the list goes on , and they do have white ones or other ones that just make bubbles. They all have properties that are great for skin.I particularily like the blackberry bomb bathbomb that turns the bath water bright purple and has a hidded message inside. The lush website says 'As soon as you drop this into your bath, tension is banished as the bergamot and frankincense oils are released. Bergamot is used in aromatherapy for anxiety, depression and nervous tension, and is both relaxing and uplifting as well as antibacterial. You’ll soon feel calmed as frankincense oil helps slow down breathing and induces a feeling of wellbeing.' I included a picture of the blackberry bomb below.
Another lush product I'm totally in love with is the Karma perfume. It has a really warm , comforting scent. You can also still smell it the day after application because it is pure perfume. The lush website said 'Our signature scent, combining intoxicating layers of orange, spices and patchouli. Recalling London in the 1960s, clouds of patchouli mingle with uplifting sweet orange and cleansing pine. A unique and truly Lush perfume for free spirits. Layer with Karma soap and bubble bar, Karma Komba and Karma Kream  for a truly immersive dose of good karma.  Notes: orange, patchouli, pine, lavandin, lemongrass, elemi, cassie.' I have included a picture of Karma perfume below.

The last thing I want to mention from Lush is the Mango bath melt.I find the simplistic look of it nice and I was drawn to the display in the shop from which I purchased it.It is similar to a bath bomb , but gradually melts , instead of fizzing. The lush website says 'A gorgeous way to wake up and replenish the skin: the bright citrus fragrance of lemongrass, lime and lemon oils lifts the mood, while its mix of cocoa, avocado and mango butters are a rich treat for the skin. You’ve Been Mangoed may be small, but it packs a powerful hydrating punch. Avocado butter helps to rehydrate the skin and works in tandem with the mango and cocoa butters to soften and moisturise.'  I have included a picture of the bath melt below.

The final thing on my list is something quite festive from Yankee Candle. Its an owl tea-light burner. It is a lovely piece to add to a christmassy room and comes with 4 , sparkling snow scented , tea lights. It gives off a welcoming , warm glow and looks lovely. I have included a picture below.

So that's it for my December favorites part 1.This would have been a huge post if I had done this after Christmas and included presents!I hope you enjoyed reading and maybe got some present ideas for relatives or yourself :)

Scarlett x :)
